Well, got to use the 2.5 today. Bet I used it in a way NONE of you ever have.

One of my really good buck rabbits was snake bit. He had an abscess swollen larger than a golf ball on the side of his head below the ear. Skin turning black.

Used the 2.5 to split the skin all the way into the pocket of the abscess and begin expressing it. Flushed the wound with hydrogen peroxide, and expressed more until we got blood.

Flushed again with 190 proof grain alcohol.

May have to repeat the expressing, but he's eating, drinking, and hopping around. Guess he's got a better chance now than he had this morning.

Snakes are bad around here right now due to rain and flooding. Killed 3 cottonmouths yesterday while I was looking around the pond for ducks that were missing.

Late to the party, but I had to see what all the fuss is about. Mine arrived today. Initial impressions after having it in hand are very good!

this little scalpel would be freaking amazing with a kydex sheath, that slips into a single vertical row of Pals webbing.

Wife has an Armatus sheath for hers, but prefers the leather. I need a 2.5 for me, to justify the sheath....

I like your reasoning, I have the stock sheath, a custom leather one from a dear friend and 3 kydex. Of the kydex the @Armatus Carry is far superior and my standard carry for my G10 2.5. My original 2.5 rides on my HPG heavy recon in an Allen Morrison kydex when it’s not being passed around.

Curious to see where this goes. I’ve thought about getting one again to use on the bottom of my HPG heavy recon. Would have to slip in the PALS on the bottom.
