Apparently violent crime is skyrocketing in the local bigger city. ESP multiple assailants against a single person..

Looks like I am going to have to re-examine my current plans for CC. I’m thinking more ammo and harder hitting ammo….

 

lots of swarming type crime up here , younger folks attacking one person .

 

Teaching myself to use these angles and edges to whittle shavings and be still for scraping ferro rods.

 

Apparently only a few hours after I posted … They had another 2 on 1 assault with a firearm.. Not the bigger city nearby with most the crime. But the small town even closer to us…

 

You know, it’s pretty relaxing to sit down and give a few pair of old boots a good coating of mink oil.

 

So I order an item for hunting season from a major and well established supplier inside con-US, and it wanders all over the country with the worst tracking update data I’ve ever seen for 10 days! I order an organization insert for that same item from Bezos at Amazon and it takes 2 days, comes a day early, and it tracking updates twice a day!
This is why that bald headed freaky looking rascal can buy a yacht the size of my house and a private spaceship to play with…at least his system works! ( rant for the day. )

 

reminds me of my Amazon subscription every three months for 4 liters of dish detergent. Goes from the USA (multiple points) into Canada, across Canada, north Canada, Vancouver, back to eastern Canada, back to western Canada, before bouncing all over Metro Vancouver and being picked up by Purolator for delivery. (Then more stops)

 

I need to do some cleaning, but at least I got a new shelf built to fill up. I recycled a old door into a shelf, and hung up a piece of PVC pipe to hang leather sides on.

 

I have to make some longer legs, but I made a camp chair.

 

In the span of thirteen days I've crashed hard while trail running, mountain biking and offroad on a motorcycle. After the first fall I was a little sore. After the second I was like, ok, everything hurts but I'm good. Now everything hurts and I want to sleep for a week. Getting older sucks. Maybe I need to take up golf or something. Probably not, though.

 

I was very lucky last night!

I had a line of deer run straight in front of my truck less then 5 minutes from my house…
Luckily I was able able to avoid most of them and only hit 1.
Truck only suffered minor bumper damage and a small dent in the drivers door.
I wasn’t ready for deer hunting / cleaning yet this year BUT I still managed to take it home and get atleast 40 pounds of good meat and not let it go to waist..

So much for the sit on my Butt and do nothing but watch TV that I had planned for last night…

 

Funny how the lord provides, Lol! You have to make a real special meal with that venison so down the road you have something pleasant to recall when your eye catches the dent. It's always a hit a run or way too mushy for me, no satisfaction.
