It’s a hot one for sure.

Especially when you realize they take the official temperature in the shade.

See, organ harvesting serial killers aren't trying to kill people , their trying to cool them down by placing them in ice in a tub..... :D

I got stung for the 6th time in 2 1/2 weeks....

I've NEVER been allergic to stings but this time my ankle was looking almost the size of my calf....

According to the ER Doc you can develop sting type allergies as you get older and the more you get stung the more severe the reaction can become.....

So YAH me out of a abundance of caution I get to carry a Epi Pen until at least winter when all the little buggers will hopefully freeze to death...

I think what annoys me the most about it... Even thou I am taking extra precautions like wearing long sleeves and pants... The Hornets are so angry this year I've still got stung 3 times through my shirt and 2x just walking down the street......

    @Andy the Aussie
At least I would likely see the Murder Hornets coming…
The hornets around here live in the ground… So they like to fly up and sting you in the ankles / legs….

Lowest high temp in the whole state today was 103, highest temp in the state was 115.

Humidity has been down, and it is noticeable, but damn it’s still hot.

Apparently there is a Global shortage of Sirachaa Sauce. The one with the clear bottle, red sauce and green spout with the chicken logo.

reports here in Canada say shelves are empty , warehouses are empty, people are violently fighting over remaining stock in stores and bottles are selling for $200 to $1000 CAD online

I don't get it??? What Shortage???????????????! I just go to my local grocery stores here in Metro Vancouver and buy a large bottle for less than $5 CAD. What shortage??? Where? China town grocers (like 300) here in Vancouver have hundreds of thousands of Siracha sauce , rooster brand. Big name grocers have lots.

Perhaps I should buy all 250000 bottles locally available, and sell them all for $200 to $1000 CAD each

Been waiting on a package from Amazon, said it went out for delivery at 3:16 today. It's now 11pm and nothing. So I contact Amazon and they asked if I minded waiting until tomorrow for it. Like I have a choice but to wait?? Third time this has happened. If it's going to be late fine, say it's going to be late, don't say it's out for delivery then not deliver it.

Went full bougie last night. Got invited to one of the local ca or clubs end of the year event. Went here:
    https://mauiweddingandevents.com/events

Had to wear a collared shirt, long pants and shoes. On a Sunday afternoon no less!
Nice venue and great food. The building is a replica of Marilyn Monroe’s house and sits up on the side of one of our mountains. Couple pics of the view for you.

@Twoody88 Don’t think my wife would have let me come home otherwise!

@Andy the Aussie I was looking for deer during sunset. Didn’t see any. Not sure if a golf club would let me arrow a couple. Sure would have been fun though!

It has been at or above 100 degrees for 20 days this month alone.
Only five Julys in the last 117 years have had more than 20 days above 100 degrees.

Today should be the last 100 degree day this month, but by the second of August we will be back to it.

Kinda sad when it “cools off” to 93 and feels noticeably more bearable to be outside.

    Come on fall.

Been spending our vacation week putting a wood floor over our concrete porch.

    Leveling took FOREVER!
