Hey guys! I recently stripped an Esse 6.

Any idea what I'm looking at here?

No amount of sanding through various grits will remove it. Feels smooth despite how it looks.

    Any suggestions? I'm somewhat lost 20221113_134840.jpg 20221113_134856.jpg 20221113_134956.jpg 20221113_135029.jpg 20221113_135105.jpg

Looks like you'll have to remove more surface to get all the staining. The etch has virtually disappeared when I go for the even polished look. I've also used some bluing to stain the whole knife then polished it off, that evened things out some.

Thanks for the reply. You were right. Just needed a ton more elbow grease.

Tried to find a balance between cleaning up the blade and maintaining the etchings. Pretty happy with the outcome

    Thank you again brother.
