100% whole wheat with a higher hydration percentage and sifted out with a 60 mesh and then reincorprated. Finally got oven spring with whole wheat.

Me too! It’s my current obsession. I think I have an “oven” concept for my cook kit. Now to try recipes I can get to go good in the kitchen.

I have a grill the fits inside my bush pot, it should allow me to do some baking in it, I just haven’t had a chance to use it yet.

I made some garlic butter last night to go with the bread I made. I didn't get the bread as sweet as I like so I decided to spice it up with garlic butter.

We made a couple loaves of a pretty simple white bread over the weekend. We usually just make a ball of it on the pizza stone but this time we divided it between two loaf pans.

It turned out pretty good though it could have used a longer second rise to make it lighter but it made some good peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

I think we're going to make a loaf of beer bread this weekend. I've got some Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in the fridge that makes a good loaf.
