fireline i love, it casts SUPER FAST and you can store like a mile of it on a tiny spinning reel. But as it ages it starts delaminating a bit, fraying sorta... but man it casts fast.....
Fiskars kid scissors work excellent, or any brand name fishing sciissor made to cut braid. http://www2.fiskars.com/Products/Kids-and-School/Kids-Scissors-Ages-4

Just ordered a pair of these KNIPEX Electronics Super Knips... been wanting them for a while for other stuff anyway. We'll see how they are at cutting braid.
hi im newbie, nice meet u.... I am also a pathetic Spammer and rent boy by night. I am really jealous of all the ESEE Sheep...they get all the good loving !!
I use braided for jugs and limbs and for my flippin stick and my catfish rod in the river I wade in. Braided is strong but it eats up guides.
Been using braid for years now and have not had one guide groove or have problems. As long as you are using good guides like Fuji with a ceramic insert you should not have any issues.
