@Jeff Randall I love my ESEE 4 in stainless with the contoured handles! My understanding is that you probably won't make anything bigger than the 4 in stainless but I just wanted to throw out there that a stainless ESEE 6 would be AWESOME! Been eyeing the ESEE 6 lately and I will probably just end up buying the 1095 version at some point... But I wanted point out that there isn't many choices for a larger stainless knife, might be a niche that you could fill???
I accidentally bent the hell out of the edge/bevel on my S35vn steel Fiddleback production blade and worked it back on an anvil without it breaking. Maybe a 440 would have done the same, but it made me a believer in this steel
We have no plans to go any larger than the E4 with S35vn and I don't see that changing. Given that we run the HRC up on these to where it's supposed to be (according to CPM) we just don't feel like going larger would be a good fit. While there are better Stainless options out there I can't make any promises as to when/if ever we will see a larger stainless blade...no time soon for sure given that we are buried in work and it shoes no signs of letting up.
I think CPM 3V could be a cool idea for the larger ESEE knives. I currently have an ESEE 3 in S35VN, ESEE 6, the Gibson axe and Xancudo (solid handle), and love them all.....but if the 3, 4 and 6 were released in 3V, I'd get those in a heartbeat.
3V is a standout for me as well...NO WAY anything is happening like that anytime soon given the production volume and strain we are seeing right now....we still got to make that damn CR3.0 and AGK in S35 first!
maybe at some point....just space in the production schedule as it is right now...same for the Izula/II and maybe a few others...but for now... we are simply trying to fulfill existing orders...
That really sucks but I understand and don't blame y'all if it don't then. Friggin thieves gotta ruin it for everyone else...
...... you never said I had to return them....when you sent them I thought they were gifts Shane .... Yes....some people ruin it for everyone......
Any chance of the Advanced Fire Kit , JG5, PR4 being made again? Sold out everywhere for like a year or two.

They maybe sold out where you are looking but we've been making MORE knives than ever in the history of our company. Demand....is a thing.
