Nest your birds, pour in 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/2 cup dry red wine, 1/4 cup soy sauce, and simmer about 8-10 minutes.

    Fastest Easiest cookout ever!
Chicken Fried Rice, only slightly "upgraded" from my Thai cookbook.

    20210226_195947.jpg
Start with a blend of these, totaling about 2 tablespoons

    20210226_195143.jpg
I used 3 chicken breasts, twice across the grain and then into thin slices

    20210227_123158.jpg
A bit of vegetation for savoryness and color

    20210227_130720.jpg
2 eggs, beaten. You can add salt, pepper, Mrs Dash, however you normally like your eggs.

Wok on medium/high, sesame oil, green onions & garlic 1 -1 1/2 minutes, then chicken, stir and wok'et, just till theres no " raw" showing

    20210227_164831.jpg
Vegetation in, stir stir stir, seasoning on, keep it moving 3-4 minutes, till onions go translucent and carrots are mostly soft

    20210227_165622.jpg
Make a hole in the center, eggs in. Cook just until they start to set up, about a minute
In pre-cooked rice (about 1 uncooked cup per 2 people ) I used 3 cups, 2 in water and 1 in chicken broth. Stir more, till rice is hot/steaming. Top with 2-3 tablespoons soy (or soy substitute) and 1-2 teaspoons of fish sauce.
Super easy, super fast, and super good!

    I have a wok. I love cooking. It's a dangerous combination.
My 2nd favorite soup is Egg Drop soup. I was researching it and basically it's just broth and eggs. :( Some versions have a smattering of green onion and a few mushrooms. That just won't do.
I give you "Substantial Egg Drop Soup".
    20210303_102420.jpg
We'll need stock. Because this an outdoor infused forum , I used some dandelions wild onions, ramps, henbit, and rosemary that grows in my yard

    20210303_144123.jpg
    Slow simmered for 6 hours

    20210303_182722.jpg
Oh yeah. Look at that dark rich color...this is gonna be good.

Some vegetables to fill it out

    20210303_160536.jpg
Out of fresh shrooms, these will do

    20210304_132320.jpg
Here is a tablespoon of soy, teaspoon of fish sauce, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, teaspoon of ginger paste, tablespoon of corn starch ( mix with a bit of stock), and 2 eggs (I put a pinch of salt, black pepper, and Mrs Dash in the bottom of the cup.)

    20210304_172324.jpg
I washed 2 cups of rice. ( put it in a bowl with water and swish a few times in 10 minutes then rinse in a sieve )

    20210303_141745.jpg
Couple of chicken breasts sliced very thin

Awey Awey ! To me outside station!

    20210304_182103.jpg
    10 minutes in...

    20210304_183457.jpg
Add the stock, bring it up to a good boil for 3-4 minutes, then add the corn starch

20210304_184023.jpg reduce to a high simmer, then slowly ribbon in your eggs while stirring. Slow stir for about 3 minutes...

    20210304_184703.jpg
30 minutes on the nose to set it on the table. Smooth, savory and delicious. The Queen of all she surveys was duly impressed and said I could continue to be her cook of repute until further notice. :D
