The A/C light blinks and the vents spit out warm air on our Toyota FJ Cruiser. It's a 2012 if that helps.

Anybody else run into this with their Yotas?

You would be better off googling the problem, it could be low on refrigerant or a electrical problem. I don't work on Toyotas much.

I would run the code on a OBD2 scanner then head over the IH8MUD forum with the code. Tons of information posted there with some real experts willing to help. It could be something as simple as a fuse.

Possibly one of the blend doors aren't opening properly to let the cold air in.

My research pointed to the delay which is pretty common for most toyotas.

Found ut that it's still under warranty. It's a dealership problem now.

I think every vehicle should have cradle to grave factory warranty. Might teach them to build things better.

I work in manufacturing and I completely agree. Build **** right the first time, every time.

That said our yota had been 100% reliable up til last weekend when the a/c crapped out. That's not even a big item.

My FJ is an 07. I got it 11/13. Even though i am an American, Union, Chevrolet, park it behind my Corvette kinda guy, that FJ "Tokyo Express FJ Bruiser" has been the very best vehicle i ever owned. I regret not buying it new in 07!
