After talking to @Patrick Rollins yesterday at Bladeshow he mention that he had not seen me post pics of this years cow cookery.

Nothing too weird this year but the day started at 5:30 with a 300lb cow

Then we got the certified 25 day aged black angus ribs and prime rib

Next we started breaking down the pigs. The Cleaver and the JG5 worked beautifully to break down the pigs

We hung one in the Dome of Fire

And put one in La Caja China (the Cuban Microwave)

We also hung a 35lb Wreck fish

We also broke down 2 lambs but it got super busy and don’t have any pics of that. The JG5 and Cleaver also sailed through that process as well

Is that a Kudu Grill in the first photo of the Dome of Fire? If so, opinion on on grill?

That is a Kudu grill and they are awesome, built like a tank and cook great too. The adjustability of the cooking platforms makes it easy to vary temps. The only thing I would add is a set of Grill Grates, we used them to cook bacon over the fire with no flare ups.

thanks for the feedback - been looking at these for a while but have not pulled the trigger yet - close, you may have pushed me over the edge. They look very versatile and a lot less costly way to add some wood cooking control options than say compared to Sea Island Forge fire pits

Figured this was a good place to post this
One of the neighbors cows had mastitis and it's calf wouldn't take to the bottle, so they asked me if I wanted it for the meat (veal)
Folks were Leary about it so I gave it to some of the people I know who are out of work and hard up due to the corona pandemic.

I humanly put it down with a .22 to the back of the head.
Izula, 6HM, and Junglas 2 handled the hard work.
