My tag was for 5/9 - 5/15 this year. I only hunted a few hours each morning of the weekend. I heard a little gobbling and had some response to calling but no toms ever showed themselves. I did encounter a hen in roughly the same spot both mornings as i was walking back to the truck. I saw quite a few deer and a couple coyotes, couldn't get a shot though. Anyhow it was nice to get a little time to myself out in the woods. Cue the pics. I did find a my second shed of the season which just so happens to be the match to the four point side I found a few weeks ago.
