    Yes, he scored 160 1/4"! They say you have to wait 6 months before you score due to shrinkage? I've never heard of that before!

    Hey, if it's brown, it's down! Nice bucks Schmittie, I would have shot those too. They cook just as well as any other buck!

    Yup, the drying period. Kinda dumb but oh well. Damn nice deer! I have a 159 1/8 with my bow about five years ago. That's a lot of bone.

    Yes, I think the biggest one I killed before this one only measure 120"+, so this one was a kill of a lifetime for me!

    He made pope, this score is after 10" of deductions which is crap if you ask me, if they grow it, it should count.

    I don't blame you for starting this thread again, I'd be hard pressed not to carry him around with me LOL!

    I love the whole story, especially that you got him with an iron sighted 45/70! Hoping I'll get one with my 45/70 handirifle this primitive rifle season.
