I fully endorse Bozho’s view of the 3HM. The handle is the most comfortable of all the ESEEs that I’ve had the opportunity to try out. I...
Nice. I need to try out an Eskabar :)
That finish is holding on well.
RIP, Mike; and deepest condolences to his family
Have you considered the 3HM? Blade length is close to 3.5" and I found the rounded handle to be very comfortable. I have also tried out the RB3...
I really don't need an Izula II, but looking at pics like this and others in this thread makes me want one. Actually looks like a mini 3HM, haha.
What a bunch of enablers here, haha. Well, I've just checked that my local ESEE distributor still have 2 units of the CR2.5 left in the shop; have...
Nice. I'm trying to convince myself that I need a CR2.5... :D
Yes, I would say the RB3 runs a close second behind the excellent 3HM. The JG3 felt a bit odd, not really sure how to describe it. It's in the...
Awesome pics!
That’s even more expensive than the price where I am. Last I checked it was around USD180-190 here..

There are 2 handle versions, the standard frn/grivory one and the aluminum one. The standard one feels more or less like the Bugout (has a bit of...
:D:p :p:p I have looked at the 5 at the shop but haven't owned one yet. My largest ESEE so far is the 3hm. Now you are making me think about...
:):):) Yes, the chromium nitride coating is bulletproof, haha. At first it marked up, but then I found it was actually the residue of material...
I find my Bugout great for city carry. Have the 535-GRY1 version in S30V too. It’s very lightweight and pocket carries well. I’ve used it for...
I agree that the ESEE folders have so far been a bit disappointing and not up to par with the quality of their fixed blades.
I find that the Avispa carries well but the action is not that great. There is also a bit of issue with the pocket clip pressing against the lock...
I have one of these aluminum scaled Benchmade Bailouts too, and agree that it's a great EDC folder. Carries well in pocket because of it's thinness.
