    THIS CONTEST IS CANCELLED. Sorry.

going to try this again, hopefully the parcel will actually make it to the recipient this time.

If you are a Canadian/USA/Australian/New Zealand/UK/British/African Soldier, Police Officer, Border Patrol, EMT, SWAT or Firefighter or SAR in any of these countries, here is the rules:

    - I will require a letterhead from your superior, stating that you are who you are

    - said letterhead is held in STRICTEST OF CONFIDENCE, and will not be published.

    - no face pics will be posted

all I want from QUALIFIED ENTRANTS , is PROOF you are who you say you are (see above) , a picture (face blurred, critical info blurred) of you in your normal work environment, and if you can, I would love a unit patch. As Well, i would like to hear a brief (redacted content OK!) account of an event that you were involved in, and why you need a knife from me.

    Prize is as follows:

any ESEE or TOPS or KABAR TDI knife , new, that you want, (to a limit of $200 CDN) bought and shipped on my dime , to the qualifying countries listed above. Due to past events the last time I did a Knife for a soldier event, I WILL NOT SHIP TO A FORWARD OPERATING BASE> >>>>>got royally f****** on that one. (put a lot of $$ and effort and someone other than the winner got over $600 in loot)

this contest will run until AUGUST 2017.

I highly encourage ALL LEO agencies, Federal Govt (FBI/CIA/NSA/CSIS/DEA ETC ) , MILITARY/EMT/SWAT etc from all the listed countries, to apply.

this may turn into a global thing, if i can get some funding for start up costs. Knives For Those Who Serve , has a nice ring to it. I kinda really want to start a Foundation, that will have knife companies donate blades , for those who Serve. I think it would be amazing advertising for those companies...esp when I start a live , in the woods , Youtube channel

Extremely generous and thoughtful! Great to see you put aside such a lousy past experience in order to make someone very happy, cheers bro.

Don't let him lie to you. Expat is current black ops, former Marine Raider turned CIA field agent. After his stint in the CIA and being banned from most countries, he started working for a privatized contractor (company front name is ExDat Knives, a subsidiary of Yeff Ramhall Adventure, a child company of EquitorialSanitations. See where this is going?) doing undercover work. Tracking down some of the most wanted jungle drug lords in the world. You didn't think the DEA actually got these guys did you? His day job as an accountant is what sparked the plot of the movie "The Accountant".

You sheep need to open your eyes. We're in the presence of a real hero.

I must have missed this part. What is the story? Did it have something to do with @Bushman5 just wanting something to eat and Jimmy Lile?

Rumor has it, Expat has a tramp stamp with "OAF" written in Gothic letters wrapped in barbed wire.

JMHO as a serving member of one of the above named forces, I would anticipate that not many superiors would be willing to confirm or deny a soldiers identity, or their own (as would be necessary I guess?) to a random stranger on the Internet (regardless of your great intentions). I certainly wouldn't release that information. Maybe a picture of an identity card might be an alternative?

That said I think it's a great thing for you to be doing. Thanks for the recognition.

...I thought that his career was similar to mine, best described as...school marm. Or in my case, retired school marm.

I did a Knife for a soldier gig i think on the OLD forum, possibly BF...

winner gave me his FOB address. I stuffed a 12" x 12" x 12" box with the knife (not a cheap one), a pile of tactical publications, several pounds of local coffee, loot , loot, loot, loot, loot, loot, about 10 lbs of Jelly Bellies and other candies that soldiers like, and a whole heap of stuff. Cost me about $600 total with $100 shipping costs due to weight.

it was sent with tracking, and a signature requirement to a FOB somewhere. Made it to the FOB, did not make it to the winner.

    nuff said.
