Wasn't too crazy with the kydex sheath for my FoxKit which I EDC for work. A little uncomfortable and most of all the Curly Maple scales were exposed to damage when having to work in tight situations.
I got a Bark River JX4 BushCat sheath only from DLT Trading. I love the deep fit. Full protection and very comfortable.

Anyone have Kydex or custom leather for their Yuma? I'm looking for something that will allow for more grip on the handle when sheathed.

I logged on tonight wondering the same. It would be nice to have kydex for my Yuma.

My Yuma is out for sheathing now, but in leather, not kydex. Hit up @Allen Morrison if you want some TM Hunt Custom Kydex.

As a side note, the M18 is a chicken killing machine. While it certainly wasn't fun, those chicken heads literally flew off. Mighty chopper indeed.

Many thanks to @SEMO and @Strigidae

The sheaths came out amazing and the turnaround was remarkable.

What is the hole for on the front of the M17 blade? Hanging? Lashing? Can it open a beer bottle?

the hole at the front of the M18 is there for hanging, using as an indexing pinch point when scraping, and for adding a dowel rod for added control when using it as a drawknife.

New M18 from usamadeblade. This is really something. Functional piece of engineered art. Heavy. Got figure out carry strap for kydex sheath.

I fastened a DPX hest sheath clip to the kydex. Probably not good for hiking but I can hook it to my front pocket to free up my hands when I'm just moving around in circles.

If it works might get some better fasteners. IMG_5339.JPG
