You know, I was just sitting here counting my money and the thought occurred to me, "What the world needs is a super expensive top."

    Well, here you go:

If you think a $70 top is bad, you should see some of the customs. We're talking 1911 money. On a ******* toy.

    Exactly.

I get the appeal of a fidget toy. I'm the type of person that clicks a pen or something when I'm sitting in a meeting. So I understand it. But to spend several hundred dollars on something like this? Even $100 just seems mind blowing. I spent $40 for a Raven Workshop Keygrip, and they sell for $90. I felt crazy on that purchase, but I needed to do something with my keys. I can't stand having a bulky chunk of keys tied to my truck key. The 3D printed spinners seem to hit the niche in the market for the guys interested in these things but not wanting to spend $400+ on a torq bar. The 3D printed ones are usually less than $10 plus whatever the cost of the bearing are.

I posed this in the mottle opener thread - $400 for this. No one outside of the Internet world will give a **** about this thing. But you open a bottle with a snap-on wrench and everyone at your party will want to use it.

This could double as a **** plug.

Wondering if they do version with hole so I can attach a piece of string, will be easier to recover.

I say if you're going to add spinning toys for $400, go for the better tops.

Once they demonised feeding Christians to Lions to entertain the masses you have to give the great unwashed shiny little baubles to make sure they don't think too hard.... ;)

I'll admit it. I would enjoy one. Maybe not for that price. In the mean time I'll keep spinning my wedding band
