My family this year decided to focus on giving to others as we really don't NEED much. A group of us spoiled the coworkers all week with homemade sweets and non cafeteria food, we are also going to be having a number of my wife's coworkers who cannot go home for Christmas over for a nice Christmas meal (I should probably start cooking...)
SO the gift i choose for myself and i REALLY REALLY REALLY WANTED it. (Had to win a raffle for a chance to buy one) NES Classic Edition
My Wifey's choose for a Christmas present "Home Made Ice Cream Maker" :)
I can see it now Home Made Ice Cream and Zelda in 8 BIT graphics :) :) :)

The wife gave me this early to keep me from ordering one for myself. Easily best thing I could've asked for and I've been wanting one for a long time.

Santa dropped this on my SD card today. It's s good one for NJ. A baby out west, I know, but for the area of NJ I'll be in he's a beauty.

My wife got me a little titanium Boker pry bar which i've been eyeing for a long time. And a book on hunting/butchering/cooking small game and fowl. I also got a tennis racket electric fly swatter. It has already claimed lives.

A folding windscreen for stoves... new hair clippers since my last ones broke.

If you google the NES Classic there are a number of stores saying they might have them tomorrow :)
Currently not expandable but for $55 retail for the system and 30 games i cant complain. Already rumors there may be in the future OR they might just release another Version)

I got stickers from that same guy along with a timeshare contract.

That's what I get for talking to people in the mall kiosks.

got some stuff :) JAD hooked me up with some Mechanical Fishing reels, a tool kit and , this blewmy mind...a DPx HEAT folder!

but the best Christmas present was finding a lost flashlight I bought from somebody here a few months back.....an AA Nitecore Smart PD (piston drive) , I LOVE that light , then lost it about two weeks after i bought it. I was devastated.

PipSqueak dropped his cat toy tonight behind the bed and it went into the baseboard heater. I pulled the bed away and retrieved his toy and saw something in the heater....NO WAY! it was the light.

    Best Christmas ever.
