    Post up what you schlep in your pack for a DAYHIKE, & OVERNIGHTER hike.

    For me:

    Dayhike

    - pack
    - AA led light, usually 47's ATOM
    - small FAK, with a 4" IZZY
    - package of water pure tabs
    - Two big Snicker bars
    - knife of the day......varies.. ..
    - compass
    - map
    - RITR notebook and construction pencil
    - fire kit
    - water bottle , stainless
    - lunch
    - big arse garbage bag, multi use
    - whistle
    - bear spray depending on area
    - bug dope , 100% Deet

    Overnighter

    Sometimes the bladder gets switched to a naligeen bottle depending on the hike. If I hike in a populated area I take less water.

    Problem for me....i have lots of different loadouts....depending on what i'mdoing...

    like my Jeep loadout......for camping.....is 1000 lbs (truck scale verified)

    - cast iron cookware (could be the dutch ovens and tripod stand, could be a bunch of skillets,could be both)
    - 50 lbs briquettes
    - camp kitchen boxes x 4
    - two Pelican coolers (20 quart and 45 quart)
    - ice, beer, food
    - sleeping bags, air mattress, heavy canvas tarp
    - chainsaw, pre-mix fuel (20 liters) bar oil, tool kit for saw
    - axes, splitters, knives
    - level 2 industrial FAK
    - Spill kit
    - 2 x 5 lb'er fire extinguishers
    - fulltoolkit
    - full 4x4 recovery kit, including 60" hilift extreme and baseplates
    - POWERTANK CO2 tank and 1650 Pelican case loaded with tire repair stuff and gauges and spare parts
    - full fuel, oil, air, filter spares kit, fuses and bulbs
    - Scepter 10 liter military jugs with oil, tranny fluid, coolant and gear oil.
    - Skottle Brai propane grill with 20lb'er propane tank
    - 4 x DIETZ #80 Kerosene lanterns
    - 20 liters Kerosene
    - 120 liters (6 x 20L) jerrycans Diesel
    - camp chairs
    - misc riffraf.

    This lives in my edc, but also goes on short hikes with the family. Just add food and you're ready to go.
