    Hey guys!

I was just curious if anyone who has/uses an Esee 4 with the stock molded sheath has made any type of modifications to allow for ferro rod carrying, or if there are already any existing options that I'm not aware of. I'm just trying to get some ideas to see what kind of mods I could possibly do to carry a small ferro rod on my sheath, without adding t0o much bulk because I do like how slim that stock sheath is.

So far all I can see that might workout is a loop made out of leather and attached to one of the top holes with a Chicago screw. I'm using the clip plate, so only the two top holes and two bottom are left available. If that doesn't work, then maybe the only option would be to use some ranger bands.

I would love to hear about or see your mods that allowed you to carry a ferro rod on the stock sheath!

    Thanks!

I just put a rubber sleeve cut out of inner tube over mine and put the rod under it.
