That's awesome! I kind of missing being thirty minutes from SMKW. I'm curious to see to hear the details. @shaneadams90 , any info?
That's cool. I've not been in there lately, but have a class in the area next month. I'll have to stop in.
If you shoot your knife it should end up on a wall of shame with your picture. Not a warranty board !! Lol
In over a half century of carrying and using knives, I've broke exactly one blade. And I was doing something I knew was stupid when it happened. Given the short length and thickness of an Izula, breaking one should be a matter of ridicule rather than replacement.
That statue has been up there for YEARS...they move it around and sometimes it's more visible that others. It actually PRE-Dates my time at ESEE. The bullet marks are actually spot welds where it was assembled. Not sure if Jeff or Mike made this one..... but it's just an indication of someone having too much time on their hands and a pile of warranty blades lying around.
With all these broken knives I must be doing something wrong. Or my life is way to boring. I’ve only broken one knife in my life when I was like 15 and used the tip of a folder to try and turn a small screw. Just reprofiled it and was good to go. Also learned don’t be lazy get the screwdriver.
some of the worst "cuts".....more like gouged chunks of flesh have come from a flat head screw driver being used in a manner I KNEW was gonna bite me.
