I wear Salomons daily. MidGtx, Forces, or speed cross. They are great! By far the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. My only complaint is the life expectancy. Although it seems nothing is made like it used to be. I have a pair of Nicks overlanders on order. I’m looking forward to trying them out.

Keens are also pretty nice. They have a wide toe box which is real comfy for me anyways. But I wear my Salomon’s mostly in summer. And Merrill Moab low non water proof a lot. If I’m a hot environment I’d skip water proof in any boot.

My friend that we’re helping to clear his land bought a pair of Merrills that were a size to big. So he let me have them Took them with me to Oahu yesterday because I’m not paying for a taxi and where I was going has horrible parking. 5 mile round trip in the urban jungle and these boots are great!

..... I love my Lowas :D :D but they are overkill for tooling around the shops/streets and occasional walking in the reserve. Hence looking for something that lands between them and runners :D :D I have the Merrells BTW and also just discovered in a hidden recess of the company uniform portal that a few types of Salomons are available to order !

Andy aren’t you required to wear Blundstones anyways in Australia???? Lol. I do like mine. But not great for mountains as there is no ankle support.

Lol. They are great boots. I wear a pair to work everyday but not out in the woods. When I bought mine I was told every Australian is required to own them. Lol
