    What Kayak do you use?
    Fresh water or saltwater?
    Your set up.
Of course, we need to know what knife you take with you!

I love these threads..what I don’t have is pictures. (Who else has lost 100’s of images to device failures?)

I have 3 boats and do fish, but just as a pass time on trips really. I mostly scare the fish over to the people who can actually catch them.
2 stitch and glue kit boats and one tupperware. I'd like to try one of the boats with the flipper pedal powered propulsion. Seems like those would be very comfortable.

The tandem is just over 20 feet long. The other two are about 17 feet.

do you have a roof rack there is a hack to getting a heavy kayak on the top of a vehicle, you get a ratchet strap or even a strap you use to tie the boat down, you run it over the two racks like your making a bridge you lift the kayak nose up onto the loop you just made this holds it off the car, then you go to the tail and push it up once up there push to straighten it up, I learned it off youtube and have used it many times, i will try to find a video to link for you.
