Tons of beautiful modern high end rifles and handguns on here. Thought I'd post this new to me SKS anyway It's a Russian 1951 matching refirb. Stock is not "original" but restamped with matching s/n. Regards, Kevin
A new more photogenic rifle has joined my collection. A Savage 110 Scout. Don't know if I'll keep the break on it but for now it looks nice. Going to take getting used to the scout scope as well but I like the action space that it provides. Just need a sling for it. Going to look for something that is adjustable on the fly, any thoughts?
Finally got this 5.56 upper back from my buddy that’s a gunsmith. I hadn’t been using it much cause my mid length gas 16” is so much smoother shooting than this carbine length gas was as a 16” so I had him cut it to 13” so I can swap it out with my 10” 300blk. He also scored me the laser engraved pmag.
Nice! I'm partial to mid length systems too. What reticle is in your acog? I've been kicking around the idea of a ta44 for an 11.5" pistol.
It’s a TA31 rco-m4 with the red chevron reticle. I’ve been using it on my 16” mid length 5.56 that I decided to move a Leupold vari-x ii 3-9x50 to as a lighter weight hunting rig.
I swapped scopes on these two over the last year or so as well. Aero Precision M5 308 now has a Leupold VX2 2-7x33mm And my Bushmaster Predator 5.56 has an ATN X-sight. I finally picked up and modded a small Magpul m-lok rail to mount in a forend tube vent at 9:00 to mount the IR illuminator further fwd to reduce the shadow effect I was getting with it mounted on the side of the optic
Anyway?! That’s an awesome rifle! The SKS is still my favorite semiauto chambered for 7.62x39. Not as nice as your Russian model, but here’s my Norinco
Your Norinco looks just fine. Never met a gun I didn't like in some way. Won't get to shoot my two new guns until I get home end of February but looking forward to it. Thinking I'd like to do some hog hunting while in Florida this time. (Not with my guns, too much of a pain bringing them back and forth across border.
