I've teamed up with several investors / knife collectors globally - and we are looking for the old school Esee / Rat knives Skull logo gear.

the Original Esee / RAT / etc Skull logo gear was one of the top tier knives / gear collectible blades/gear of the industry, and there are MANY collectors looking to add to their collection.

Esee Knives fell out / lost a LOT of interest from the knife collecting community after the decision to drop the Skull logo. Still surprises me that I can sell a heavily used beater Esee skull logo knife for triple the retail cost of a new one....

We are looking for skull logo Esee knives , no matter the condition.

please post up here, or PM me if you want to sell the old school Esee skull logo knives.

    Seriously?
I've got a heavily used 5, a stripped and etched Junglas with modded grip panels, a firesteel with a badly decomposing ferro rod, and some stickers and patches. Are people really into this stuff just because of the skulls?

Collector value is a fickle thing. As soon as something is no longer made the "disconnected" tag is applied. I do know people seek out so marked ESEEs but quite interestingly I don't believe that the LE Skull Marked 6HMs actually sold that well (as in they didn't rush off the shelves) when offered up for sale here and via other social media - this was after the skulls were discontunued. I don't think that ESEE strives to cater to the collector market as some makers do (sprint runs/limited editions/rainbow unicorn editions etc). Inadvertently they have by discontinuing a product.

i remember how rabid the fb fan page was for a while, and they drove patch and zippo prices to insane levels.

wonder what somebody'd pay for a painted and used first run esee engraved lower.

I'm just curious, what all has been made with the skull logo?
I have a number of ESEE knives, and it seems that the skull logo was really model dependant

I think all the newer stuff has been marked with ESEE typefont only. Things like the PR4

Were Standard 3, 4, or 6 ever made in normal production with skull logo, or only special runs (group buy)?

Sidenote, glad to see you are still well Bushman. It's been some time.

IIRC, the 5 & Junglas (and maybe the knives issued at the classes) were the only ones that came stock with the skull logo until the special runs started up.
my RC6 had the triangle and my ESEE 6 was the trapezoid.
my 4 was an RC and my 3 was a rat pack -- they both went away a long time ago.

You’re right. Both of my candirus are skull logo also. I didn’t realize. For some reason I thought they had the fish on both sides like the izula has the ant.

I recently bought some DT and OD Candirus from Knifeworks and they had the skull logo on them.
