Any chance of a bigger Junglas?

    3" tall x 18" blade (24" total) x 1/8 or 1/4" thick. Sculpted scales like the PR4 / JG5

like the Cleaver - lengthened a bunch with a Bowie or Junglas style tip, and sculpted scales

You are getting into axe territory :D
I like how the Junglas2 is a good cutting knife, awesome for camp. 1/4 would work fine if they can keep the thickness behind the edge the same as the 6, as the regular J2 is thinner than a 6 behind the edge. Still very robust, just with 1/4 it will be indestructable.

I have the Junglas and Junglas II. I bought the 2 a few days after it was released so I have the skull logo.

Yeah I like the skull logo better but at the end of the day it’s quality and reliability that matters the most to me. I’m sure it’s the same for you.

It’s a great idea, in theory. But in reality you’re carrying a huge mass of which only the front few inches do any work, for that amount of ounces you could have a Condor bolo (reasonable thick) or a Tram bolo (mod to your hearts content) or a CS to beat on till you’re tired. ;) Not as class as the big Busse but not as many ounces on the leg or as many $$ from the bank account either.

I tend to use all the edge length though on my big knives......4 - 8" tip for rough use/digging, center edge for chopping, 6 to 8" edge closer to the handle for fine work.

I've got many bolos, machetes, etc but I find the Junglas just chops 6" - 16" thick trees better. (And faster than my custom axes). I just wish it was longer and thicker. (that's what she said.....)

wallet wise, weight wise , don't care :D

I got caught between a downed tree and a bridge out on a closed section of the Blue Ridge. I could have waited a few hours to be missed but had a new Junglas in the vehicle so tried it out, got it done but I felt it, put a small camp axe in the truck first thing. Just not sure how practical a larger Junglas would be, pretty specialized applications.

@Jtallen83 one of the larger Silky saws would be awesome for the car. 10" wouldn't be an issue for something like the Big Boy 360

This has my interest, but with canvas micarta handles. Does ESEE or Rowen make custom knives?
