This weekend I was in Canaan Valley, WV. I hiked the Dolly Sods Wilderness. Rocky Ridge Trail.
My dad dropped me off at the trailhead, and after hiking I walked off the mountain back to our place.
About 14.5 miles total. A few rain showers, but the Rhododendrons were in bloom and lots of Huckleberries were ripe.

Rocky Ridge Trail follows the ridge overlooking Canaan Valley and Timberline, with terrain similar to Canada, and flagged trees due to the high winds.

Dolly Sods is something special for sure. Did a weekend there last year. Going back again in October. Been looking forward to it all summer. Thanks for sharing!
