Kind of redundant, but hello. I participated regularly in the old ESEE forums back in the day. Then something changed and when I got time to tinker with knives more it was a new forum, sorta? Correct me guys. I seem to remember another forum that kind of went away? I could be having a senior moment. I've lived all over North America and had a knife in my pocket for many decades. Hope I can bring something of worth to the discussion.
New to forum and ESEE. Really liking them so far. Bit of a hillbilly so had a knife of some kind on me since before I started school.
..... you are not, the original Jungle Training Forum corrupted (computer speak for threw a conrod I think) and was basically unrecoverable. This would have been around 2016 or a little before I think. It was simpler and safer to start afresh.
Aahhh, the old girl had a leg out of bed. As my Kiwi friends would say. They used to do a cool thing where they'd send out cards to have someone bury in a tube for a free knife. I really enjoyed reading those adventures. I placer mined an entire canyon in Utah down to bedrock looking for one. (slightly exaggerating...) I would love to hide one of those tubes where you would definitely earn your free knife.
Hello everyone. Not a whole lot to say. I’m just an old(not too old) Cajun dude that likes knives, guns, reloading, grilling meat, and drinking good beer.
Hey folks! It's been several years since I was active on this forum and it looks like things changed a bit as I had to re-register to gain access to posting. Can someone give me the Reader's Digest version on what happened/when did this change from the Jungletraining.com forum occur? I actually swung by here because I am trying to find a nylon belt loop attachment that can be screwed on to my desert tan plastic RAT-6 sheath like the one that came with my RAT-4 Kydex sheath. Thanks and I hope everyone has been well!
Welcome back. I recently went through the same thing and had to create a new account. One of the moderators (Andy ^^) said that the old server had a meltdown and it was just better to start from scratch. A simple belt loop sounds like a good DIY project? Not everyone is into that though.
