My apologies to the forum.

I have posted many images of knives etc. here that were hosted on FotoTime.com. I had been a paying customer of theirs for around twenty years, and had too many images hosted there. They suddenly went belly up March 10th, taking all of my images with them.
I hope I can find most of them, but in twenty years I had a few hard drives go bad as well.
I'm totally bummed.

I have stopped taking pics because it's just too much trouble to upload them. I wanted to start a diy wine making and brewing thread, but haven't because I don't want to upload pics to a hosting site.

 

Not sure why you're apologizing. You got screwed. Unfortunately this is starting to become a thing. I got hosed a few years back when photoshop decided to go full dueche.

You realize you can upload directly from your device on this site by clicking the upload a file button below? No need for a hosting site anymore.

 

That's good to know! I know the old site didn't give you enough space for anything but an avatar.

 

Biggest problem now is locating all those images. I'm thinking FotoTimes hosting service may have been the one in France that burned down? All these years I was thinking they had their own hosting equipment in Texas.
I did a google query asking what happened to FotoTime.com and found this.
