We used this at our recent WFR class and I suggest anyone interested in a compact, lightweight and function splint for your pack to pick one of these up. Awesome product with a lot of different uses when it comes to splinting. https://5col.com/collections/first-aid-components/products/rise-splint-tactical-medical-solutions
Done! Thank you for that tip, gave me that little push to buy it instead of keep thinking about buying a compact splint.
How thick is it when folded up? Does anyone have pics of it next to something as a reference? I'm looking at sonething for my running and mountain biking kit. We've used sticks and gorilla tape several times and while it works, something like this is obviously a better option.
Hey, everyone! Apologies for coming late to this thread. Thanks to @Jeff Randall for the shout out on these new splints. @C99c below is a pic of one in my hand. Measures 4 in. x 6-3/8 in., and compresses to 5/8 in. at its thickest point (where the snaps are). PerSys is coming out with some new Elastic Wraps that use the same closure as an Israeli Bandage. We will have some of those in stock soon, and they will be a great accessory for these splints.
