I bought this when I was in Michigan and had to unfortunately sell it. A good friend of mine bought it and said he'd hold it until I could buy it back. Well, today is that day! I'll be getting it next week. received_3136037819768371.jpeg

I recently bought a Cree LED conversion kit for my giant Maglite. Made it totally useful again!

    From the past few weeks....

    Gear.jpg

....a couple of Zerbralights (I hate those people now as they won't ship to Aus anymore) one direct (last shipment to here) and one from the Big River Site that gave me a free 2 months Prime so I have been beating it up for gear from the US to save on the shipping. A Streamlight USB charged light a couple of AA battery racks for my pack gear and some AA storage boxes now I am trying to just but Eneloops.

Some synthetic silk balaclavas, for when I give outdoor fencing lessons. A shaved head isn’t exactly cold-weather issue, even with a fencing mask.

    :p:p
Naw. More like woven Black Widow web silk, but without worrying about swallowing a spider or two.

Actually, it’s some mix of polyester and spandex. Fencing mask slips right over it, and it stays put.

I ordered my second Izula II, this time in OD powder coat. My previous was BO finish. I also ordered a Candiru in OD to match. While I was holding the CC, I ordered Kydex for both in Coyote.

    Next is a 3HM.

Have a new audio receiver coming tomorrow, and a center channel speaker coming Wednesday.

What kind of receiver did you get? I like audio equipment. I am planning to get a old 70's console stereo from my grandparents next week. The last receiver I bought was a Onkyo, it's much better for music than the Marantz that it replaced. I have never bought a real center speaker, I have seen a few that I wanted to try. I have just been using a old 8" bookshelf speaker for my center channel.

For the last few weeks I had an Onkyo picked out that I wanted, the TX-SR494.
At the last minute I switched to a Denon AVR-650H.
It has a additional digital audio input, and all the posts are screw terminal, whereas the Onkyo I had picked had screw terminal for the front left and right, and spring terminals for the remainders.
It is a 5.2, which is all we need.
We don’t do blue ray, and streaming services from what I read stream in 5.1 for the most part.

Our house came with 4 speakers in the ceiling, which I finally hooked up last year to an older Onkyo stereo receiver and I added a 10” sub.

Sound is much improved over the TV speakers, but I decided to try out the center channel for better dialogue and also get a more true surround experience from and actual audio receiver.

We plan on having a Marvel movie marathon once we get it hooked up.

Denon makes good stuff, you should like it. Action movies like that are fun with surround sound and a good sub. I had a meth head, running from the police, hit a few trees and a swing in my front yard. Then the truck flipped and stopped about 10 feet from my house. I was watching a Transformer movie and never heard it, or if I did I thought it was the movie. I didn't know anything about it until I saw blue lights flashing on my wall.

This arrived yesterday, but I didn't order it. It was addressed to me so I know it's for me but no clue who sent it. So if it was from one of you, thank you very much!! IMG_20210112_123123765.jpg
