Recently picked up a 3HM and fell in love with the handle, it fills my xl hand like it was made for me. That's my new EDC.
Interestingly I find I appreciate the 4-3d handle more now than I did before I got the HM. While not a full 4 finger grip (unless using the choil), the thinner profile and stepped-down transition area also appeal to me. I'm thinking of slightly thinning the transition on the Hm. Anyone else done this?

How did it turn out? I was talking about you in the car as we passed with it in view.

It was good! Hike went well. 30-40 mile an hour gusts above the tree line was exciting. Ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in a while around 11,600 ft. So that was pretty cool. All in all, fun time.

Where were ya headed? Somewhere in Flag?

We were coming back from a few days in Sedona. I've forgotten how boring I40 is from AZ to Barstow. Only 100 something miles but pure crap. Meeting a friend at 11,000++ is cool. You obviously got friends in high places.

I gave mine an 8 hour etch already. Not sure if I’m going to strip it.
