I saw a picture of an “updated” umlindi on facebonk. Looks like a zippered pocket on the front maybe?

I wish I would've waited for the update. Additional storage / organization for small items like sunglasses and hand sanitizer would be amazing.

That is the Umlindi V2. It is supposed to be out in June.

    Per Evan Hill:

Yes, a new version is on the way -

    - dual stays
    - dual top straps
    - full height interior slot pocket that can be accessed from the exterior via zipper
    - zipped top lid pocket like on Junction
    - velcro loop on underside of top lid for velcro accessories
    - wand pockets 1" taller and large enough to each hold (2) nalgene silo water bottles. drawcord tensioner at top of wand pockets.

I'm curious as to how you get your beard so soft and luxurious looking?
    and
    also what holster that is?
my G45 is set up almost exactly the same way, except Irons forward, RMR to the rear.

I bet it's because they are constantly out of almost everything. Forces a body to go to the secondary.
Try finding a 58 pouch right now.

Yep. Small business. They do runs when they get enough folks to make it possible. I waited months for the coyote ruff that i never use. Thought it was a good idea. :)

@Strigidae yeah that will probably be the same with me getting a second. I probably don’t need two .....but I really like the way it looks.

I've never spent time with them personally, but they all appear to be average sized to me

Haha! I wish I could get my beard to look less Captain Caveman like, but short of daily straightening that ain’t happening. I use beard balm from Smokey Mountain Beard Co for the most past. Couple drops rubbed through the beard daily, best done immediately after a shower. :)

As for the holster, it’s by Vertx. It’s multiple pieces which get assembled (Velcro) around your gun, then allowA for it to be placed into a Kit Bag or any other bag with Velcro inside. Works great for this purpose.

If only there was a way for a company to let us know when something we want comes back in stock.
I found a Blue Force Gear admin. pouch that's close enough.

Fiddleback Forge machete. It’s a fantastic blade but hard to come by now. I haven’t seen them in stock in a while. Probably be on a Darien soon for a little more reach.

Tara pulling some waterfall hunting duty.

I've been spending the last two days hunting down some fairly impressive local waterfalls that are off trail and hidden. Topo maps and some internet info are your friend, as you won't find these on any official park maps.

Had the Tara loaded with a few basic supplies and my DSLR and a single lens. This pic was taken right before a small cascade that led around a bend to the impressive double waterfall. I'll post up some pics on the where were you today thread when I get them processed.
