My battery died on my Suunto....
so the Blackhawk Ti got pulled into rotation...not normally what I want to wear in a cave but I can't stand to NOT wear a watch...

Really need to grab an Ironman for my subterranean adventures as caves are hell on watches (all equipment actually)

The same original G-SHOCK I've been wearing for 20 years now. Great old watches. This is my second one. The last one got water inside it after a battery change and died. This one is probably 9 years old? About time for a new bezel and band.

Sent my Marathon GSAR back to Marathon for a cleaning. They changed out the hands and face. Super bright again, and the second hand now has a tritium tube! I haven’t made up my mind yet on the new face with the 1/5 second divisions, almost looks too busy...

image.jpg I always remember watching Apollo 11 on a black and white TV at a neighbors house when I look at the time. As a 10 year old that had assisted his father when plowing with a mule, it was quite the spectacle.

I recently bought a used Garmin Fenix 5 and I am really liking it...

I can customize the watch faces and download "Widgets" apps, customize the menus, receive notifications from my phone (which I never thought I would like, but I do)

It has a pretty healthy compliment of Navigation and Fitness tools as well. The thing I like about it most is my ability to customize the menus and I have it set up for SAR missions and often needed data, to include UTM, weather, radar, and other tools...
