    Hello Everyone,

I have available right now a B.L.A.S.R. 1 (Basic Lightweight All-purpose Sparking Receptacle), a firesteel handle with compass on top, and a smaller firesteel handle on lanyard. All are pictured below.

The BLASR 1 features a machined aluminum body, knurling for sure grip, a 3/8" diameter firesteel, a compass in the buttcap, lanyard and a couple of Quik Tinder tabs. It has a satin finish. Firesteel is replaceable, so the aluminum body will last you a lifetime. $60 + $5 shipping.

The medium sized unit is a solid aluminum handle, machined recess for the cord wrap, button compass on top, lanyard, 3/8" diameter firesteel, and a blasted finish. Firesteel is replaceable, so the aluminum body will last you a lifetime. $40 + $5 shipping.

The final unit is a knurled aluminum handle for a 1/4" diameter firesteel. It has a lanyard and blasted finish. Firesteel is also replaceable, so again the aluminum body will last you a lifetime.
    $20 shipped.

All work is done in-house by me. If you buy either of the larger firesteels, I will throw in the smallest unit for $10. If you buy all three, price is $105 shipped. U.S. only on this one. Thank you for your support!

No problem, you got it! I am going to start on the batch in the last week of the month, so if anyone else would like one, just post in the thread and let me know. Thank you!

You got it. I have been threading them to the body of the BLASR, but I am going to start doing a tight press fit in epoxy. This will make it much easier for the end user to replace them. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you!

    Hey Sam-

Love your handles. By any chance do you custom make them for other size diameter firesteels? I may need one in the near future?

Thanks and keep up the great work.

Hey @bohdisattva, thank you for the compliments. Yes, I offer them in different sizes. I can fit up to a 1/2" diameter firesteel in the BLASR 1 body, but they do start getting pricey. Obviously, going smaller is no problem. Let me know what size you're interested in and I can give you a better answer.

Also, for you or anyone else interested, I will begin work on a batch of BLASR 1's in the next 7-10 days and they will be complete shortly thereafter. Let me know if you would like one.

    Thank you,
    Sam

OK, I have everything in stock for these now, should begin and complete them within the next 7-10 days. If everyone that wants one would PLEASE (those are nice all caps, not aggressive all caps) send me an email to wilsoncustomknives@gmail.com I would greatly appreciate it.

This will allow me to do one email to everyone involved by using my website email program. No one's email address will be shared with anyone else, the program just sends to everyone on that list so I don't have to do it individually.

You can be as brief or talkative as you want, but if you could state what you ordered (BLASR 1 or similar), I can keep track of it that way. Thank you very much! I appreciate the support, and stay safe!

Been meaning to do this for a few days but life keeps getting in the way. I ordered a BLASR 1 from Sam when he originally posted them. I received it last week and was very impressed. His workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. His communication was also great as he kept me up to date every step of the way. I will be ordering a knife from Sam soon and can't recommend his fire rods enough
