    .....three ways to hunt big lizards.....ambush over a sunning spot.....stalk and over bait..... I believe Expat has the answer to his prayers of Option 3 now.... :D ;)

    No one ever wants to hunt with me... :(

    In Carolina we hunt them like men. You have get close enough for them to bite you before you can shoot them. No baiting allowed.

    I shot that one with a Glock 26 from a range of about 3 inches. For you in Austria, I don’t know how many kilometers that is.

    I’ve jumped onto a 7 footer’s back and shanked it where the spine meets the skull after securing its head. Biggest adrenaline dump I’ve had hunting anything except maybe hogs.

    I think you need to do a pair of boots. I’d definitely sport that. Especially if I killed it.

    I killed one near Canadys, SC. Near the Edisto. Sort of became a pest. I still have an arrow quiver some where. It was 20 years ago.
