Soon to be here. I went with a Benchmade griptilian but the tip was ground wrong and only half the size it should've been. So returned. I've always liked the look of these leeks, and I finally got one in hand and loved it. 71fA3xOey+L._AC_SL1500_.jpg

Mail call: 2 x Mayflower/VelSYST jungle canteen pouches , Multicam.

The quality and attention to detail is insane. Like beyond Top Tier.

Oh I'm sorry dad.. It won't happen again..

Yeah BTW I got a part time job here doing a little maintenance and covering the manager a couple days a week, that started this last Wednesday. So that nullifies my part of the rent and puts a little cash in my pocket. She knows it's only until I move also.
I won't post anymore personal things in here either. Sorry for that. Have a great day everyone.

Glad you found some work. Post what you want, only you know your finances. Im sure JV3 wouldnt have said it if he didnt care...I cant really afford purchasing knives either and life seems to be a constant financial struggle but every so often i will spend a little money on shipping to work out a trade for a new (to me) knife or piece of gear. Its just something positive to keep me from getting down.

Thats a nice looking canteen pouch, Bushie. I haven't really given canteen carry much thought until recently. My kids all have canteen setups (plastic canteen, stainless cup, and standard usgi pouch. On our recent hike my son didnt have room in his bag (too many toys...long story lol) for his canteen so I rigged up a makeshift shoulder strap but it carried very awkwardly. I started looking for something with d-rings for a strap and a pocket or two for other items. The only one I found was a mother canteen carrier by Centerline Systems but cant spend that much on a piece of gear....apparently i need to do more searching because there are some other options out there i havent discovered.

check out the new HSGI canteen pouch.....it comes with a huge length of 1" webbing to make it shoulder carry (attaches to twin D rings). Or you can belt mount it or molle mount it to webbing. Very well made and inexpensive and transferable lifetime warranty (and they honor it)

Got a new Geissele SSA-E for the shorty LWRC. Now both guns match in every way as far as controls and trigger go.

there is a crew up here that has like 5 quads with snow blowers attached to them. when the snow really hits they work the WestWood Plateau are of Port Coquitalum BC, doing all the sidewalks and driveways of the rich folks homes. Last year in less than three weeks they raked in just over $350,000
