Hello Everyone, It's a bit early to do pre-orders but you may sign up to be notified when pre-orders begin by clicking here. Thanks!
you may already guess that someone in the company is angling for this....no clue if it will happen....
Wondering at the reason for going with a .156" vs .125" thickness. Although the emphasis seems to be using this on game, it looks like a blade shape that would have a lot of uses.
I foresee this as a do everything Knife. Robust blade thickness, overall dimensions seem good. I can’t wait to get my hands on one.
Looks like a premium shorty variant of a lamb skinner, which is an excellent general purpose skinning design that strikes a good balance between small and large game suitability.
Oh, it's way too quiet about these and the only way to keep something this quiet involves dead bodies. I'll be glad to see when someone is out there really using this knife.
A prototype was recently used by one of the writers on a Ruger hunt. I haven't seen the feedback yet. Patrick and Shane are headed to Texas for a hog killing fest in the next couple of months and they will be using them with Ashley.
Is this what you were referring to as the ESEE answer to the Herters-esque Canadian belt knife? Or is that a separate model?
