Anybody from the forums here going to be attending the 4 day Global Bushcraft Symposium in Alberta, Canada this next week? If you see me, say hello. I was asked a few months ago to be a door prize sponsor, which I most readily accepted. Pending my triumphant entry through Canadian customs, I will be attending as a regular attendee so as to maximize my time. If you aren't familiar with it here is the description from their website: "An international gathering to promote bushcraft, survival, and traditional skills instruction through the open exchange of philosophies, pedagogical methods and dissemination of best practices within the industry." https://bushcraftsymposium.com/ Keynote speakers: Mors Kochanski Lars Falt Tom Lutyans David Wescott David Holliday Paul Kirtley Lisa Fenton Cody Lundin Les Stroud Andre F. Bourbeau Other Presenters include: Kelly Harlton (Mors's protege) James Andal of Andaltool Joe Flowers Ernest Thompson Seton's granddaughter Ben Piersma (Ben's Backwoods) My buddy Sean Castillo (aka Mr. Black. aka @operationalextras on Instagram) and a whole bunch of awesome people who teach under Mors or whose name's I don't recognize
my god thats a mega line up of Educational Leaders! had I known about this a month ago I would have booked off two weeks and opened the jar lid on my head and let them fill it with knowledge! I'm actually surprised @Se7eN isn't going there!
I had planned on going but my better half is out of town so I have two little rednecks that I’m looking after lol
Yep. I'd like to hear Cody Lundin speak. Even better would be to have a beer and chat with him. No Bear Grylls on the list?
