Campsite


Lunch during a dayhike (France), with the Spyderco Bushcraft UK, the MSP Core 4 stove and other gear that brightens my days




Prepping firewood for the evening with the Esee 5, that beast brings a smile to my face every time I use it!


Guinness picked up a nasty friend on on of our dayhike in Framce... the friendship was over very quickly (my girlfriend was upset about this the rest of the day haha)



Ans on this path a snake crossed our path... to quick too take a picture. Gotta love the yellow flowers everywhere...

 

Browsing through my pictures I wanted to add just one more to get this going a bit faster

Just remebered that my trusty Lowa's got wrecked on this hike... the sole came loose on a large part...

Mountains just make my hart run faster... wish my country wasn't as flat as a pancake...

 

Here are some pictures to our trip out to Washington state. Flew there from Wisconsin and rented a car for two weeks. Got two checked bags each plus a carry ons so we brought the tent/cooler (counted this as a check bag)/sleeping bags/etc and camped the whole time.

While we were in Washington we spent a good amount of time at Mount Rainier National Park.

 

We also really enjoyed Olympic National Park and the Pacific Ocean.

 

@Bushman5 Thanks for doing the giveaway! Reminds me of the old forum with all of the contests that went on over there... Love a good mystery prize .

@KnOeFz How do you like the camper van? I always wondering what it would be like camping in one of these. My parents have a minivan that they take the seats out of sometimes when they go camping and just sleep in the back of there.

 

It absolutely rocks! Super efficient interieur. In wintertime we sleep in the back, but in the summer time we speel in the pop top tent part, just awesome! We go out much more compared to the time we ' only' camped with a temt.

Just a few of the phots ive taken here on the stead. When we first got here it was a camping on raw land extravaganza. Went from tent to camper and now finally to a cabin. Thats my great Pyrenees Einstein. Couple shots of the knives doin work. The eggs with the JG5 are quail, the meat is rabbit. The eggs in the nest were some vegan eggs my daughter found... They didnt taste very good. Tossed in a photo of the 6 with the lantern cause sharpening was a night time task.

One of my favorite parts of camping is the early mornings before anyone gets up. For whatever reason I find myself awake around 4-430am when camping and while that would normally be an annoyance I've come to appreciate the solitude.... Just me and my camera

From hike at Zion National Park - 4/7/19

 

One of my favorite places to visit is Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Upper Michigan along the shores of Lake Superior. If anyone is ever in the area I highly recommend they check it out!

 

Some photos of Badlands National Park, Custer State Park in South Dakota, and Devil's Tower National Monument...

 

Final post for me. I figured that I can't let this close out without some pictures of the Smoky Mountains!!!

Those are great pics. Munising is a gorgeous area. I think every person that has ever been to Pictured Rocks has the cove pic (3rd one down). Lol
