2 glass filters (one red , one green) for my Acebeam LC30 Gen2 searchlight. Plus a wee little led strobe with GITD band
I never want to see it again lol. It's an amazing tool, but it could use some anti-vibration technology in the handle haha. My fingertips hurt! My hands are basically numb today. It wouldn't have been so bad if there were no glue to get through. We should have torched and scraped it, but we didn't really know that going into it, so I just ate it off with 24 grit paper on the sander.
Master bathroom shower is almost done. Still waiting on glass. The rest is getting tiled this week and then the vanity should be going in after.
In one of the rooms, there's some damage that needs to be replaced. We've spent months searching all the local options to try to find something that matches. We finally got lucky and an antique store in the next town over had some oak flooring that was taken out of an old house and it was an exact match.
Just used my 50% off code for Leatherman to order a couple new tools, sheaths and a surge to give away on instagram. Now I will be impatiently waiting for it all to arrive!
What's this? The BTOJ brought me box of foam peanuts?!! Oh no, this box was wayyyy heavier than that. . @Bushman5
Centerline Systems Sherpa belt arrived. It’s damn slick. Long enough for wearing over winter clothes but short enough for summer
Picked up some Altra Escalantes running shoes for the gym, the rare road run and general weekend city bumming. They'll keep me from trashing my trailrunners as quickly. They are super light and comfortable. Big toe box and built using the woven, stretchy, seamless whatever it's called design that companies are using now. They are 0 drop with a low stack height (minimal cushioning). Not something I'd want for hiking and trailrunning, but perfect for their intended purpose. EDIT: It's called flat knit technology according to my wife. She has some Brooks with similar construction that she really loves.
Got my order of Lemonheads from Darkstar Gear. He threw some other stuff in with my candy order. His new Darkwing holster attachment and newest adjustable (for both ride height and mag length) mag pouch design, the Koala. I'm excited to try both out. Installed. A 24 round mag in the Koala.
I really want to see how that tile looks when the bathroom is done. I'd never have thought to put black tile down but the look so far is damn nice. I love the pattern.
We used the same black granite from the kitchen for the vanity in this bathroom. I think it'll give a cool contrast. The tile is a type of red ceramic that's supposed to be super tough. We got it from a lady that bought it at a liquidation auction. It was originally purchased to go in a large tank at an aquarium. The boxes it came in all said it was from Brazil.
Bought a 60L Patagonia blackhole duffle yesterday. Will be traveling alot for a research project I was hired for this summer so needed a good bag to Carr y all my stuff, plus I'll take any excuse to buy gear. Will probably end up buying a pair of Saloman ultra 3 aero boots as well to wear this summer.
