What holster do you use?

I’ve had a few hundred holsters in my lifetime. Even had the Miami Vice classic rig back in the day.

The only ankle holster that was ever worth anything is the Galco one.

I carry primarily owb. Like a non-hipster man is supposed to carry.

I like Raven, Milt Sparks, Mitch Rosen and some Galco. But I mostly carry daily in a custom kydex from @Allen Morrison, which most of you here should be familiar with. If not, check him out. He can make you anything for your gun, knife, Zippo, whatever.

I have a holster from him in Tiffany blue that is sweet. With that rig, you don’t even have to pull. Bank robbery going down? You just simply slide that coat back a few inches and let the skell see that set-up. He’ll know you mean business and surrender on the spot.

When I get my Cabot Arms, I’ll get an alligator belt and matching holster. But for now, I carry the working man’s polymer lead slinger in Morrison kydex.

I roll my own, but if I was buying a holster, Id go with a JM Custom or Incog. In leather, Milt Sparks or Mitch Rosen are hard to beat.
When I get my Cabot Arms Southpaw, Im going with a Milt Sparks Summer Special with shark trim! May even get a 1 Carat diamond front sight with unicorn antler grips!

I carry only owb primarily because sticking a holster inside your pants is not comfortable. If I want to print minimally, I have a nice kydex system from DSG that I can hide with just a tee shirt. In the winter, I carry a safariland ALS because I can hide it easy and it's a superior holster when compared to all the friction fit options out there. Just my two cents.

All mine, duty, concealment and thigh are variants on the Safariland SLS models. Though the ALS types are now showing up as issue. I also have a couple of Safariland jobbies with a frame jack instead of the rotating hood. I like that the draw is the same across the board. I HATE ankle holsters but they are sometimes a necessity...

Ankle holsters are a necessity in shorts. Carrying on your best in shorts is just silly.

IWB in a JM Custom Kydex exclusively with only two exceptions - OWB Comp-Tac paddle for IDPA and occasional range use and a pocket kydex for my LCP made by Talon Tactical who is no longer making holsters.

    JM Custom for the P229

Concealment Express AIWB and a Crossbreed MiniTuck for P938, depending on how I'm carrying.

I only use one when I am basing in my Speedos. The waist string in those just can't hold a sidearm.

I carry revolvers OWB in either Simply Rugged or De Santis leather.
Semi autos are normally carried OWB in kydex holsters from JM Custom or Bravo Concealment or DSG Arms. But I have some nice leather for my 1911s and BHP too. I also have IWB holsters for a couple pistols for carry a bit more discreetly but to me IWB is slower and less comfortable than OWB.

I’ll freely admit to being too fat to carry AIWB.

I carry the G27 AIWB in a Foxx Deluxe Trapp.

The G23 rides OWB on a Raven Concealment Perun.

Try as I might, I've just never been able to do IWB. I’m strictly OWB for holsters. Tupperware gets kydex (in this case Alabama Holsters ~ because their Askins clone is the best I’ve ever seen), everything else gets Milt Sparks. KISS.

I just ordered a couple new holsters (Bravo Concealment). I have not tried them yet, so I can’t comment yet. I’m definitely an OWB guy. I’m following this for more ideas. I definitely need to get Allen Morrison to make me one too.

Picked up a cz83 the other day and of course no one seems to make a stock iwb holster. Anyone have any recommendations for a custom index?

They make great kydex holsters and mag pouches. Affordable and fast shipping.

Raven Concealment VG2. Been using this “holster” since right before Christmas and I’m absolutely loving it. I carry AIWB with it and it’s the most comfortable option I’ve tried so far.

Just got a new Blackpoint Tactical OWB holster for my P-07 + Olight PL-Mini. Gotta be patient for these (I ordered this one back in early Dec.), but they are worth it.

    Anyone have a recommendation for a G19 gen 4 w/ PL-mini 2 valkyrie? I can't find anyone that is selling them.

Dara holsters look to be tooling up for the Olight: https://www.daraholsters.com/blog/new-lightlaser-options/

I have one of their standard aiwb models and it has been pretty good.
