I think my new next apt neighbors are terrified of me.........the Canada Post guy asked if they could sign for a parcel for me and hold it. (a lot of my neighbors sign for parcels and hold them for tenants)

apparently the neighbor replied "oh no, no , no, I stay the heck away from him, i'm scared to go within 100' feet of that guy, he absolutely terrifies me. sorry"

Postal worker laughed at that and told the new neighbor "you'll want him on your side when the earthquake hits BC" and just left the parcel behind the washing machine , just across from my apt.

I think the neighbors irrational fear may stem from the day he moved in and i was leaving to go shooting with a buddy. Buddy had brought in his shotguns and rifles into the apt and cleaned them while i was getting my gear ready. We left, full multicam, webbing, .308 scout rifle, 30-06 bolt action and a shotgun slung over our shoulders. Of course i had a honking huge knife or three strapped to me. Neighbor saw us and went white as a ghost. I said hello in a booming voice, stuck my hand out and welcomed him to the building. Limpest handshake i ever experienced.

anyways, my titanium bottles arrived after being stuck in customs for a week.

these are damn cool! They came in a pressurized air bladder packing, you could drive a truck over it. Then thick cardboard boxes, then heavy thread count canvas linen sacks (these sacks are bombproof!) (im going to contact the seller and see if i can get like 20 of these linen bags by themselves)

2 X 200ml titanium bottles. These will be for methyl hydrate fuel for the Mkettle SAS boiler.

    very nice!

i have these two on my "to buy" list for 2019

I normally take a LARGE, but im getting these in XXL for the additional length and room for my puffy down sweater. Plus i like to be able to move freely, and a large size sorta restricts that a bit.

you can dang near sleep in the XXL size. Its PERFECT for winter snowshoeing

and for insulation, an identical wool anorak to wear underneath the Artic Anorak

and thanks to Brother @Reno Lewis , i got a wicked deal (with Reno's edge profile too!) on a SPARTAN BLADES Tactical Trout (TT) fixed blade.

Photo Credit to SPARTAN BLADES - the one im getting is slightly different color

I've had my eye on this particular G19 for a few months, finally pulled the literal and figurative trigger.

Frame is foliage green, slide is hard to say but sort of a wolf grey with brownish undertone. It was bought new, so possibly a distributor exclusive cerakote.

I'll get a photo in better lighting when I'm able to take her out to play.

Got my first PM2 from Knives plus custom shop. I understand the hype for this knife. Quickly kicked alot of others out of the pocket.

Also found a Benchmade 15030 on ebay to replace the one I lost.

Nice choice. And yeah, if I had to only have one folder, the PM2 would be on the short list.

Very solid piece and the sheath is better quality than some custom sheaths I’ve had made. Looking forward to putting it to use

My first @EXOTAC product, standard Matchcap in orange.

The knurling at the bottom seems to work perfectly for strike anywhere matches, which is what I use most.

    I have a few.

The last pair I got is the one with the thinner sole, much lighter than the regular ones.

    I like the arch support.
