I would bet someone does have one that they don't use, seeing as mine was stolen along with my junglas, 5, gb axe, and a **** ton of gear....or maybe they do use it...hah Hope you dig one up man.
damn man sorry to hear that! I went though the same situation before... Parked my car over night in some LA parking lot and had one pretty full kit stolen. esee 3 , sven saw , camel back and alot of other stuff. I was on my way up to a friends to go hiking the next day. Bastard thieves!
Someday I'd like to bring this pack back out. It's a good design and still my favorite design for what we do. Cost of manufacture in the USA is just too high. Maybe bring it back out made in Vietnam or somewhere overseas. Only way to do it and keep the cost down.
Plenty of good packs are made overseas. Maxpedition comes to mind so does 5.11. I would like to buy everything American made but it’s just to costly unfortunately. If you and mike ever do bring this pack back out I’m definitely going to get one regardless of where it’s made because I know you will ensure top quality!
@Jeff Randall get DIRECTACTIONTACTICAL in Poland (all there stuff is made there, but they have a USA distribution center) to make it. They use certified name brand materials, the stittching is flawless and they use 5000D Cordura as well as cutting edge laminates and laser fabric cutting..... and the end products are inexpensive. (my new Ghost MK2 pack was only like $140
