If I could leave Georgia and go to Idaho and speed this process up I would... I just quit asking about a month ago....I will be as surprised as you are at this point. From what I've heard from the Rowens is that it's been a tough year for sickness and machine breakdowns.....a bit of a perfect storm. All of which have adversely affected production.
I just noticed while watching the ESEE booth at shot show that they mention the axe will be shipping soon. Is this actually confirmed now?
From FB, posted today: "Good news. The Axe is in the final stages of production. Final edges are being put on as we speak. As soon as I get a ship date I will let you know."
Lovin it! Seriously though: no hot spots, handles really well (in multiple positions on the handle), weight is great, and you can tell it was designed by someone who has done his own abundance of wood carving. Hopefully I'll get out within the next few day and see if I can utilize it to knock out a quick shelter.
