Are all you east coasters ready for this? One of my interns is named Matthew and he's awkward and doesn't know when to leave. Hopefully this hurricane isn't the same.
Just damn, I almost spit coke all over my screen, bet he said Myrtle Beach 15 times!!!!!!! Almost forgot about the famous weather dude.
Better it be like your intern than my brother of the same name. If it's like him it'll impregnate a bunch of women as it passes through, won't help support any of them and will cost everyone way too much money with nothing to show for in return.
Looks like it going to track up the east coast of FLA. 15 foot waves expected along the coast. 35 foots waves offshore. Nice knowing you @Flsurfer Are you outchurmind man?
I aint surfing 15 ft waves. But before it gets here could be ok and after it goes by it could be epic. So I cant go to mainland Ill be stuck away from the beach the morning after it passes.
Im counting on the fact that most the hurricanes that come up our coast go out to sea more. Im planning on it making its track out to sea off the coast and heading up. Ive never seen one come straight up the coast staying on the beach. If it does I could still blaze outta here before it gets here.
I remember andrew....i was in new orleans when it hit, then made my way to miami, well, got stopped in fort lauderdale until we could get to miami airport....nasty! Be safe you guys
I shall call this storm Matthew the Gorilla. Or just monkey. Bad monkey! I'm more prepared than 95% of America (or at least normal Americans/not the elite with their bunkers). Mother Nature can be a heartless bitch though. So there's no telling. We're prone to losing power here as we're at the end of the line so to speak. We're not a "high priority" to have it hooked back up either. I anticipate having to break out my chainsaws. At least I'll be able to participate in the chain saw and knives thread.
