The last thing anyone wants to do outdoors in the humid, hot weather is cook over a big fire. This summer grilling series will highlight things that are quick to cook over a small fire or bio/hobo stove. Chipmunk pic Nothing seems more summer “grill worthy” than corn on the cob! After a quick soak in the river, I started a cook fire and used a small grill in conjuction with hot coals for the cooking. One corn in the coals, one on the grill. Two different textures, both good. Corn done out of the husk, on the grill, dries out faster on the plate. Filipino Chicken BBQ with Corn on and off the cob! I saved the inside of the corn after shucking and the husks. They dried in the sun and a day later they were great for tinder. Corn tinder bundle Oil first… Chicken stir fry I was being watched Stir fry cooks pretty fast when the temperature is high, but olive oil will burn off at high temperatures. It cooks fast, so less time over a hot fire in the summer.
@bearthedog great pics once again, what bowl/ pan are you using for a wok? I am always hungry after your post.
