I beg your pardon, but I, like the headlights on both my jeeps, am round.

Well...my belly is round..butt is awful flat, according to my wife...

My BMW motorcycle gets over 50 mph. And that's with the cruise control set on 85.

But I bet I can’t hold 5 people, 2 dogs, full size tools, camping gear, buckets of rocks, food, water and is tempature controlled and rain proof. And still get 40 MPG. :)

I like my old setup :)

If you take all that stuff with you, why do you leave in the first place?

1/2 of the gear was in case of emergency, me and the wifey would be fine if we broke down, got stuck, etc. but we would go to some pretty out there way away from civilization places. We might not see another person for days or more or a lot lot longer. Some spots no shade or shelter and or far from water. So with kiddos it’s was a necessity.

The other 1/2 was gear to set up a day camp or longer. Brought full size shovels, sledges etc neccasey to dig up or out what ever we were looking for. On a good day we could come home with every nook and cranny filled with geodes or petrified wood or crystals or crystal plates.

Great memory’s, cool souvenirs, teaching love of the outdoors, teaching hard work pays off :) All the above reasons and more made great reasons to get out, go, leave and explore.
