I love it. It's more dark bluish/indigoish than purple. Out in the direct light of the sun, you can see the blurple, but indoor light makes it look more of a blue. I'm about to order the s110 Millie in the blurple as well. Not for the scales but more for the s110v steel in a Military platform. I haven't had to strop or touch this one up yet in a few weeks!
I have owned blades from many manufacturers. I have finally stumbled upon a favorite. Spyderco is the way to go.
For those that have missed it Spyderco has announced the long awaited Para 3 will be released into the wild in December. Pic on Instagram and Twitter today. Count me in for one. I am going to have to try to resist the first offering in hopes they will come out with a DLC coated version like my PM2. If they do I suspect I'll drop my all black PM2 for the Para 3 and keep my Jade M4 PM2.
Me too. I have the money sitting in PayPal already and waiting to pull the trigger. I will prob keep the DLC PM2 though.
My current Spyderco bunch. I carry the Elmax PM2 almost every day. I just got the M390 from Bentoboxshop the beginning of this week. It came sharper than any knife I've ever had. It pops open, and drops easily. I've been wanting the M390 for a long time, and the finally made more of them. The Bushcraft has one of the most comfortable handles I've owned, and the Endura came from Bravo, with a very nice edge on that SuperBlue.
The Slysz Bowie has recently grabbed my eye. I think being a Machinist, knives like this make you recognize all the CNC work that has went into something as simple as a knife. To me its quite amazing...
