55 today, got the bike out for about 20 miles and its just a bit too cold to ride without any warm weather gear.
ducati demo day this sat in cross country cycles (metuchen)...going? - they sell other brands too...tilted kilt nearby for beer and wings after!
Na I gotta buy a house first according to the wife . They don’t sell anything I’m interested in anymore unfortunately. I may take a ride if you’ll be riding over there when I’m out of work.
That thing brings back many great memories. That hike was cool too. Nothing better than seeing that bear where we wanted to have lunch.
damnit! is winter ever going to end? another 3" of snow fell today and below freezing lows are the forecast for the rest of the month i already made up my mind i want the 2018 with the blue/red/white motorsports colors - just waiting for warm weather so i can tell my dealer to go ahead and order it next gen bikes coming down the pipeline now have all-digital screens which i can't stand at all...for me it just doesn't have soul...this just might be one of the last superbikes with the analog tach
i guess my s1000rr will have to wait until a little later because i just bought this triumph speed triple special edition it's the first bike i fell in love with years ago when i saw it even before i had a license or riding a motorcycle crossed my mind...it's an impulse buy that was years in the making!
That Mission Impossible movie made the Speed Triples mainstream!! Always liked those bikes and the Daytonas....and the Tigers......those ST touring bikes were cool too...
I was one of the early ones...2nd or 3rd I think....some great scenes....and a few that make the Fast and Furious seem like reality TV.... On a side note...My family has some property up on the mountain and a guy parked a black Speed Triple at the bottom of a drive way....vines grew up over it to a point till it was almost impossible to see....I tried to buy it off the guy no telling ow many times....then one day....it was gone....maybe someone did what I considered...just throw it in the truck! I always wondered what happened with that bike.
