Patrick is basically the modern day Nessmuk. A review of the cleaver and some insight into my background.
Can I get a copy of that pecan pie recipe? Did Patrick say guinea pig on a swamp grill? I’ll be needing that recipe also!
Dang. Oh well I guess I can wing it. I got a pair of guinea pigs that are getting on up there in age, and eh, well protein is protein am I right?
When I was a child my parents would drive me deep into the backwoods of Georgia to eat at this restaurant named Swamp Guinea... I always thought it was country ham, oh well.
I still cannot figure out what agency you were with. I am guessing you did contracting also. My grandmother made the greatest pecan pie. She had unlimited pecans. Both her and my mother never shared recipes, even with each other.
Somebody has actually met you, known it was in fact you, and lived to tell the tale? Patrick is even more impressive than he looks.
@Expat tends to pop up in the most austere environments. I smelled a burger cooking one time below the tree line on my property. Walked down and there was @Expat cooking with his Randall strapped to his side. I asked if he had an extra burger but he said no. Fast forward a few years and I ran into him in Atlanta. I said you owe me some lunch and he said no. Ran into @Patrick Rollins one time on a cold morning in TN. I said I needed some coffee. A few moments later he brought me some coffee.
Please tell us he had on more than just the Randall. One spring I was canoeing down a small river with a couple friends. We came around a bend in the river and there was a guy standing knee deep in the river wearing only a belt with a Buck knife on it. Needless to say we didn't stop to chat. That was over 30 years ago. I suppose it could have been ExPat.
